Bio

ANJA HUANG is a Taiwanese film director/writer who works in both narrative and documentary. Having started with documentaries, she likes writing surrealist stories about people in everyday situations. Her most recent works include JESS: Her Voice in the Park a documentary short about Central Park's opera singer, and Heads Up a slice-of-life short focused on an unlikely encounter between three people of different backgrounds.

When Anja is not working on her own projects, she enjoys doing sound on set and have been a production sound mixer for 20+ shorts.
